About Owen

Owen Buckley is a Partner based in New York and leads The Omerta Group’s AI & Machine Learning Practice. With more than 13 years of retained executive search experience, he specialises in recruiting senior technology leaders across engineering, product, and data. Owen partners closely with founders, CEOs, boards, and investors to identify and secure transformational leadership talent.

Before joining The Omerta Group, Owen held leadership roles at global boutique executive search firms, developing executive search practices across the US and Europe. He has a strong track record of delivering complex, high-impact leadership searches for venture-backed scale-ups, financial services and established global organisations.

Owen earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Spanish from Denison University.
