An industry professional, Hamish brings over 20 years of proprietary trading, derivative sales, structuring and financing experience across both physical and derivative markets.
Hamish is a business builder and has been central to the development of commodity desks across North America and Australasia. With deep expertise across power, natural gas & oil markets – as well as secondary experience across base and precious metals – Hamish now leverages his commercial experience into Executive Search, delivering value through partnering with Hedge Funds, Commodity Trading Houses, Financial Institutions and Merchants.
Holding a Master’s of Applied Finance from Macquarie University, Hamish joined The Omerta Group in 2025.
Hamish is based in the New York office.
