Vithiya Vairon is a Senior Partner at The Omerta Group and is based in Hong Kong. Since joining the firm in 2013, she has specialised in executive search across the investment management industry, partnering with hedge funds, asset managers, family offices and investment banks on strategic hiring mandates throughout Asia.
Vithiya focuses on the placement of Portfolio Managers, Investment Analysts, Traders, Strategists and Quantitative Professionals across a broad range of investment strategies. She has successfully completed searches across Equity Long/Short, Global Macro, Quantitative and Systematic Investing, Relative Value, Credit and Commodities. In addition to investment professionals, she advises clients on team build-outs, market mapping initiatives and the acquisition of senior talent across both established and emerging investment platforms.
Over the course of her career, Vithiya has developed an extensive network across Hong Kong, Singapore, Mainland China, Japan and the broader Asia-Pacific region. She works closely with leading single-manager hedge funds, multi-manager platforms and alternative asset managers, helping clients identify and attract top investment talent in increasingly competitive markets.
Prior to joining The Omerta Group, Vithiya worked at the French Consulate General in Hong Kong as a Scientific Officer, supporting collaboration between France and Hong Kong across research, science and innovation initiatives.
Vithiya holds a Master’s Degree in Research in Physics from Ecole Centrale Paris.
